Where and when it all started. In September 1999 an enthousiastic group of Lotus owners payed tribute to the Stelvio Pass. The pass that played an important role in the development of the Lotus Elise. The organisers named the event “Stelvio Or Bust” and succeeded in making it unforgettable.
The meeting was attended by the likes of Lotus Chief Engineer Richard Rackham who designed the Elise chassis, engineer David Minter who tested the brake components of the Elise and Elise Program Manager Tony Shute.
“Stelvio or Bust” was a great succes. Twenty years later it is still a very sweet memory for all participants.
