Our 2020 road trip plans are shaping up. At the moment – albeit provisional – the following multi day trips are scheduled:
- May: Bends and Curves 2020 Spring Tour (8 days, start& finish in the Netherlands and visiting Germany, France, Luxembourg, Belgium) *CANCELLED DUE TO COVID19*
- July/August: Silverstone Classic Road Trip (4 days, start&finish in The Netherlands, driving B-roads from Harwich to Silverstone and back)
- September: Stelvio 2020 (7 days of which 5 alpine days).
If you’ve made up your mind already and want to register for one or more of these road trips, just sent an email to email@example.com. Remember, for each road trip a maximum of about 12 sports cars is set. And just to let you know, our road trips are brand-independent (although you will probably find a majority of Lotus sports cars ;-).
Nearer the time a full program for these trips – and probably some other single day trips which will take place in The Netherlands, the Eifel (Germany) and/or the Ardennes (Belgium) – will be presented on this website. For now, only basic information about these multi day trips is available, just read on for that.
Bends and Curves 2020 Spring Tour
Our Spring Tour should have taken place from Friday 8th May to Friday 15th May 2020. The start was planned in the southern part of The Netherlands and it would have been a 2.400 km / 1.500 mls tour driving in the Eifel and Black Forrest area (Germany), Jura and Vosges (France) and Ardennes (Luxembourg, Belgium). But, COVID19. So we had to cancel this road trip.
Silverstone Classic road trip
2020 marks the 30th Silverstone Classic. With its 1000+ entries, the Silverstone Classic is firmly established not only as the world’s greatest classic motor racing festival but also as the biggest motor racing meeting of any genre on the planet. Bends and Curves planned to visit the event on Saturday 1st August and Sunday 2nd August. Due to COVID19 Silverstone Classic has been cancelled. But we will be driving anyway, if England allows us. Friday 31th July and Monday 3rd August will be our driving days from Harwich to The Cotswolds and back. Besides driving typical English B-roads on these days, visiting some interesting places will be part of the program.
Stelvio 20 Years Revival was epic. Period. The memories are golden. Driving the alpine roads is addictive, so we’ve decided that in 2020 a small-group-revival of the 20 Years Revival is in place. It will take place from 7th September to 13th September. The first and last day will be merely driving A-roads but the five days in the middle will be alpine roads galore.
