ITINERARY STELVIO 20 YEARS ROAD TRIP
The Bends and Curves itinerary for the Stelvio 20 Years Revival is taking its shape. A group of 10 Lotus cars will depart from The Netherlands on Wednesday 11 September 2019 to drive the first leg to the South of Germany.
Before we arrive there, we’ll have a racy lunch at the Hotel Motodrom Hockenheim. While we’re at this famous race track, of course we’ll pay a visit to the statue of legendary Jim Clark, who so tragically crashed and died on this circuit on 7th April in 1968 in a Lotus 48 Formula 2 car.
After we’ve arrivied at Radolfzell am Bodensee we’ll enjoy a dinner with a view at Strandcafé Mettnau.
On Thursday the driving fun really begins. We’ll use the B roads to drive from Radolfzell am Bodensee to Livigno where we’ve planned to arrive in the afternoon. After what will be an unforgettable evening with a lot, and we mean A LOT, of Lotus drivers and enthousiasts and probably some car browsing, Friday 13 September will bring us Stelvio D-Day. Check this page to find out more about that super day.
On Saturday 14 September Bends and Curves has organised another driving day for all of them who just can’t get enough of driving these curvy roads. It will take us from Livigno, to Stelvio, to Merano (and for a lunch in the city center), to Timmelsjoch and into Austria where we’ll spent the night in Strengen.
