After several years without visiting the majestic Dolomites, we wanted to go back to one of the most beautiful areas to drive our beloved sports cars. The reunion was magic. And so were the Italian and Austrian Alps, We will return again for sure!

Our summer tour always has a special place in our hearts; out of the tours we organise yearly, this one is the most dedicated to ‘the drivers’. For 2024, we chose for a combination between the Dolomites and the Alps. The Dolomites are one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in northern Italy. The steep spires of the mountains combined with the many small lakes make for a breathtaking backdrop. The Dolomites are part of the Alps (this part of the Alps is formally called the ‘Southern Alps’), yet look very different from the surrounding mountain ranges. This is due to genesis of the Dolomites. The Dolomites are often regarded as one of Italy's most beautiful areas. in 2009, the nine sub-regions of the Dolomites were designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It therefore has numerous recognisable spots. Many of these spots consist of pointed peaks, created from a single mountain peak.
Both the Dolomites and the Alps offer what our tours are all about: driving fantastic ‘bends & curves’ and enjoying stunning views. The number of mountain passes we drove during this tour cannot be counted on the fingers of two hands. It's a tour to remember for sure. During the day, Alpine Roads 2024 was all about driving beautiful mountain roads, interspersed with pleasant stops - where and when the stops took place was decided by the participants, although we picked out quite a few suggestions for them. In the evenings at the hotel, it's the conviviality what it’s about!
