The northwest of France isn't on every drivers bucket list. But it should be. Amazing curvy and quiet backroads made us believe we accidentally crossed the Channel and ended up in south England! Besides fine driving, we paid respect to the 80th anniversary of D-Day, among many other things.

For the first time, we took our our participants to the northwest of France. A region you might not immediately think of, if you want to ride the most beautiful 'bends and curves'. However, we had everybody convinced once the tour was over! All agreed with us that Normandy not only has many authentic villages where people drink cider and calvados and eat camembert, and that Normandy not only has an impressive war history with accompanying sights, but also beautiful, quiet roads 'for the drivers'.
During this tour we've showed the different sides of Normandy. The famous, such as Omaha Beach and Pointe du Hoc, Mont Saint-Michel and the beautiful Honfleur. But also the lesser known, such as the beautiful villages of Lyons-la-Forêt and Beuvron-en-Auge, the Maisy Battery and Suisse Normande. We've visiedt a calvados distillery and a cheese dairy in Livarot and drove a section of the cider route. And last but not least, we drove around the old Rouen les Essarts circuit, where F1 races were still held in the middle of the 20th century. Normandy, you stole our hearts!
