Collaborations between Delightful Driving and Bends&Curves road trips tend to be quite succesful. Tour des Grandes Alpes 2021 has been nothing short of epic and the same goes for Stelvio 2020. So why not join forces again? Exactly that is what we do for Stelvio 2021.

The Stelvio 2021 meeting will be all different. It starts with the date: on our “traditional” second weekend of September, the streets on the Bormio side of the Stelvio will be closed for a bicycle competition. There is no way that we can miss climbing the pass from Bormio. So let’s just go there one week earlier: gathering is on 3. September for dinner in Bormio.

Then, the Stelvio and Elise anniversary celebration is not situated at the end of the tour, but right at the beginning. No worries though: We have different packages on offer. You can join this year’s Stelvio tour for two or four days. And you can even extend to six days if you like (Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse anyone?).

Will there be a pre tour or after tour for participants from the North?

Because of all these options, this year Bends&Curves road trips won’t organise a ‘pre tour’ like “The Road To Stelvio 2020” or an ‘after tour’ for that matter. This means the fun starts on Friday 3. September in Bormio and ends after 2, 4 or 6 days, depending on the choices you make.

What’s included?

No matter for how many days you participate: on all the days of the tour we provide accommodation, breakfast and dinner. And of course a package of routes around Stelvio, in Switzerland, Austria and the Dolomites.

Every participant will take part at the Lotus Elise commemorative lunch on Saturday, 4th of September and receive a welcome kit including the roadbook, numbered tour stickers for your cars, a commemorative polo shirt plus some additional goodies. Every day of driving will be packed with great routes and will end smooth and relaxed in the lounge of the hotels.

Pricing

This year we offer Early Bird pricing, available if you book before July 16th, 2021. Early birds can sign up for the two or four days at the Stelvio for:
* Two days: €290 per person in a shared double room OR €320 in a single room (subject to limited availability)
* Four days: €475 per person in a shared double room OR €540 per person in a single room (subject to limited availability)

From July 16th, 2021 the pricing is as follows:
* Two days: €315 per person in a shared double room OR €350 in a single room (subject to limited availability)
* Four days: €500 per person in a shared double room OR €570 in a single room (subject to limited availability)

Wait, there is more to tell

If you are still hungry for curves after our four day driving menu, you can extend by another two days, which will include driving the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse in Austria. You will receive a “Stelvio Participants Only Registration Link” by email, which you can use to book the tour at a discounted rate for Stelvio participants only.
